With the release of the jbDATA dataset, the project consortium is making the final key component of its research available to the public. The dataset was specifically developed to support the validation and analysis of modern perception systems for automated and connected driving.

On May 20, 2026, the final event for the just better DATA project took place at AUMOVIO in Schwalbach am Taunus. Around 80 participants gathered to review the results of the past three years, discuss them together, and look ahead to the future.

End of January 2026, around 30 project partners gathered at Deggendorf Institute of Technology at the Forschungszentrum Moderne Mobilität (Technologiecampus Plattling) for the final consortium meeting before the just better DATA project’s completion.

At the beginning of July 2025, the just better DATA project team met at AVL in Bietigheim-Bissingen. In addition to the technical exchange between the partners, a special program highlight took center stage: the implementation of extensive data collection with unusual and sometimes surprising traffic scenarios.

At the end of January 2025, the project team met for the fourth consortium meeting at Valeo Schalter und Sensoren GmbH in Kronach to discuss their experiences and results from the project work to date.

The progress of the jbDATA Smart Data Loop and the latest research results from the project were presented by the project partners on 12/13 June 2024.
